Hiredly Welcomes 5 New Members To Take On Leadership Roles

Hiredly recently announced several new appointments in its advisory board a

d management team to help drive the company to greater heights. 

The new appointments were given to:

As the Regional MD for Robert Walters in Singapore, Malaysia and Vietnam, Andrea Ross was responsible for driving business growth which led to the company’s success in Southeast Asia. With Hiredly, Ross will be supporting the exploration of new business ideas, challenging the status quo and encouraging growth opportunities.

“I’ve noticed the good work that Hiredly have done and now I finally have the opportunity to advise them on strategic issues and risks that the business will face in the future. After being in the industry for over 20 years, Hiredly is in a stronger position to achieve its strategic goals,” said Ross.

Meanwhile, the new VP of Finance, Yu Jing Ying already has a number of finance-related roles under her belt, with the most recent one including her being the Head of Management Reporting at Maybank. Prior to that, Jing Ying was the Senior Manager of Finance at HSBC, and she was also the Auditor at PWC China and KPMG Malaysia. 

Aside from Ross and Jing Ying, there were other appointments made by Hiredly earlier this year, following the company’s rebranding.

In June, the newly appointed Sales Director, Keith Leong is tasked with the role of helping Hiredly achieve eventual regional growth. Previously, Leong was the Regional Country Manager of Lexmark for Malaysia, Indonesia and Brunei, as well as the GM for Toshiba TEC for Malaysia and Thailand. Now, Leong leads both the Corporate and Inside Sales for Hiredly, as well as the Hiredly X Team – a recruitment arm of Hiredly that aims to raise the company’s standards in terms of sales approach and strategies.

Additionally, Adeline Wong, who was appointed as the Team Lead for Hiredly X starting July, will be managing the Accounting and Finance team. She was previously doing recruitment for telecommunications company, DiGi and one of the Big Four accounting firms, PWC. She was also the Senior Consultant at Robert Walters, covering tasks revolving around banking finance and operations. Her experience in both the agency side and in-house will provide Hiredly with insights on breaking through to larger corporate clients.

Meanwhile, Hiredly’s new People & Culture Manager, Joann Teoh aims to create and empower a collaborative and innovative environment for people to work in so that they truly feel that they are working where they belong. Previously, Teoh held a strategic role at Maxis’ Enterprise division where she drove strategic initiatives across different business pillars in accordance with the company’s growth plans. Prior to that, she was a recruitment consultant at Robert Walters, where she gained valuable insights into hiring trends and unique talents that combine technical expertise and business acumen to further enhance businesses.
