MyDigital – Accenture Signs LOI To Drive Digital Economy Blueprint, National 4IR Policy

MyDIGITAL Corporation signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) with Accenture Malaysia to realise the vision and objectives of the Malaysian Digital Economy Blueprint (MDEB) and the National Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR) Policy.

Witnessed by Minister in The Prime Minister’s Department (Economy) Dato’ Sri Mustapa Mohamed today, both parties have agreed to explore and identify collaborative opportunities under the premises of boosting economic competitiveness through digitalisation, developing an agile and competent digital workforce, creating an inclusive digital society, as well as driving digital transformation in the public sector.

“This partnership between and Accenture Malaysia is the embodiment of the public-private partnership that would drive and accelerate the agenda of MDEB and the 4IR policy, especially in promoting a digital culture and sustainability,” said the minister.

He added, since its inception, MyDIGITAL Corporation has been playing a key role in transforming Malaysia into a digitally-driven, high-income nation, that is focused towards becoming a regional leader in digital economy.

To date, MyDIGITAL Corporation has engaged and collaborated with a total of 11 corporations from the private sector, which includes Intel Malaysia, Microsoft (Malaysia), Cisco Systems Inc., Petrosains Sdn Bhd, and Axiata Group Berhad.

Mustapa said: “With more such partnerships in the pipeline, I am very optimistic that we would be able to generate a responsible, inclusive, and sustainable socioeconomic development through a vibrant digital economy and ecosystem.
