Investors may generally feel that inflationary pressure might have eased somewhat, but the softening of economic performance in China as well as the Euro zone may put a dent on the global economy and hence affects the sentiment of investors.
Some of the top gainers for the morning session were Batu Kawan, Kotra Industries, MI Technovation, Kluang Rubber, Hong Leong Financial Group.
Whilst losers were Petronas Dagangan, Nestle and Aeon Credit.
