After 45 Years Cycle & Carriage To Be Delisted From KLSE On September 19

Cycle & Carriage which has been listed on the KLSE since 1977 has confirmed in its Bursa filing that it will be delisting the stock effective September 19 2022.

The delisting comes from the takeover bid by Jardine Cycle & Carriage Singapore which is seeking to take the Malaysian operation private. The group managed to take over after making three offers and finally succeeding.

Cycle and Carriage was a company, founded in 1899, and based in Singapore and Malaysia, it was one of the premier automotive groups in Singapore and was engaged in the retail, distribution, and provision of after-sales service of Mercedes-Benz, Mitsubishi, Kia & Citroën motor vehicles. C&C re-opened its Malaysian operations and was awarded the much sought-after Mercedes-Benz franchise. It is one of the first Mercedes-Benz businesses in Asia. The Malaysian dealership operated in Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman.
