Reservoir Link Secures RM26 Million Work Order From Petronas

Reservoir Link Energy Bhd, announced that its wholly owned subsidiary Reservoir Link Sdn Bhd, has obtained a letter of award from Petronas Carigali Sdn. Bhd (PCSB) for the Provision of Light Weight Well Test Services for Malaysian Asset 2022 – 2024.

The energy related services provider shall provide equipment as well as personnel for the Package II – Surface Well Test Package including optional services such as slickline, coiled tubing and nitrogen services for well test supporting services.

The work order for this project is for 2 years effective from 18 August 2022 with an estimated value of RM26 million. This award comes after having previously been appointed as a panel contractor for the umbrella contract back in March 2022 and subsequently winning the mini bid among PETRONAS approved panel contractor.

Reservoir Link Executive Director Thien Chiet Chai said, “Despite the current challenging landscape in the oil and gas industry, we continue to tread cautiously, making strategic decisions that benefit the Group.

“The management’s ability to seize valuable opportunities and roll out strategic plans for the long-term future can be seen from the decision when the management listed Reservoir Link during the height of the pandemic. A portion of the initial public offering proceeds was utilised for the acquisition of the Group’s first well testing equipment.

“This well testing equipment will be used for this contract with Petronas. Along with the other strategic plans which we have laid out, be it for the oil and gas or renewable energy, we are prepared to bring the absolute best to all our valued stakeholders which you can look forward to in the coming years.”
