Petronas Capital Bond Trading Three Times Over Average

Petronas Capital Ltd bonds traded three times over the average on Tuesday (Oct 4).

Bloomberg cited that based on hourly data gathered by TRACE Market Flow, at 5:11pm in New York on Tuesday, trading in Petronas Capital bonds totalled RM232.37 million (US$50.1 million), the average being RM68.18 (US$14.7 million).

Clients were net sellers of Petronas Capital bonds at US$17.4 million, buying US$2.9 million and selling US$20.3 million.

Inter-dealer trades of Petronas Capital bonds were US$3.3 million, or 6.6% of all transactions.

Petronas Capital has US$12 billion of outstanding bonds.

Petronas Capital Limited operates as an oil and gas company. The Company offers deep water drilling, resource development, and engineering, as well as liquefied natural gas and petrochemical distribution services.

In April 2021, had successfully priced a US$3.0 billion dual-tranche senior bond offering, comprising US$1.25 billion 10.75-year and US$1.75 billion 40-year conventional notes.
