Indonesia Q3 FDI Up 63.6% YoY

Foreign Direct Investment in Indonesia rose 63.6% year on year for quarter 3 in terms of rupiah said its investment minister.

In terms of value, FDI hit US$10.83 billion with Singapore, China, and Japan as the biggest source, the data excludes investments in the banking and the oil and gas sector. Indonesia remains Southeast Asia’s biggest economy.

Including domestic sources, total investment during the period surges to 42.1% from July to September 2021 to US$19.74 billion boosted by rise in manufacturing, transportation, and mining activities.
