Bursa Malaysia ended the Friday’s morning trading session in mildly red with the FBM KLCI eased marginally by 0.52 point to 1,453.57, compared with Thursday’s closing of 1,454.09.
This morning there was mild selling pressure on some banking, plantation and telecommunications heavyweights.
At 9:00 am, the barometer index opened 0.45 of a point higher at 1,454.54.
The market breadth was mildly positive with 135 gainers outnumbered 103 decliners, while 207 counters were unchanged.
Turnover stood at 87 million units with total value of RM39 million.
Some of the top gainers of the morning session were Hextar Technologies Solutions, KESM Industries, Kotra Industries, Hong Leong Bank.
While top decliners were Malaysian Pacific Industries (MPI), Vitrox, Batu Kawan, Aeon Credit, Nestle Malaysia.
