Orbis Business School ‘sets sail’ with Time2Tack on a mission for healthy oceans

Orbis Business School announced Time2Tack as a transformational partner. The announcement was made last week, during the official global launch of Orbis Business School specialised in Transformational Leadership.

Dennis Akkerman, Founder and Managing Director Orbis Business School, ‘’We are facing major challenges and need to adapt to new realities triggered by the COVID-19 pandemic, digital era,  energy crisis, high inflation, and the climate crisis. To navigate successfully through these turbulent times requires transformational leadership skills. Sustainability is a mindset shift that affects the  entire organisation starting with the leaders.”

Direct impact

As part of Orbis’ CSR initiatives, the Business School has been looking for projects with direct impact.  Impressed by the passion and commitment of the people behind Time2Tack, they found a great fit in the values and ambitions. Additionally, they complement each other with their global network of public and private partners in the transformational business area.

Transformational leaders

Time2Tack ambassadors are strongly connected to Educational and Business Programmes,  contributing to the mission of both organisations to invest in transformational and future leaders.  Furthermore, the Time2Tack crew has highly recognised experience in developing leadership and team performance skills using the sailing environment as a learning experience.

Kees de Walle, Chairman Time2Tack, “We are at a turning point where we need to change our behaviour to safeguard our planet for future generations. It is time to tack, or in other words, change course.’’
