Bursa Malaysia ended the Thursday morning session in a palely positive note, the benchmark index gained a mere 0.10 point or 0.01% to 1,466.98.
The index remains directionless with the lack of buying interest.
The main index opened at 1,467.37. For the morning session, it was traded in the range of 1,462.59 – 1,469.12.
On the broader market, decliners led advancers 531 to 302, while 345 counters were unchanged, 1,077 untraded and 11 others suspended.
Top five active counters of the morning session were MQ Technology, AHB Holdings, KNM Group, Advance Synergy, Borneo Oil.
Top five gainers were Kotra Industries, Comintel Corp, Carlsberg Brewery Malaysia, Computer Forms and Caely Holdings.
Whilst top five decliners were Malaysian Pacific Industries, KESM Industries, PETRONAS Dagangan, Heineken Malaysia, Petronas Chemicals.
