The Labuan Corporation (PL) today launched the 2022 – 2026 PL Strategic Plan (PS PL) and the 2022 – 2026 PL Digitalization Strategic Plan (PSP PL)
The PS PL outlines five strategic cores supported by strategies and programmes according to clusters that have been identified and need to be implemented within five years to achieve the targeted vision and mission.
PL CEO, Rithuan Ismail, when launching the plans, said the success of PL PS would depend on the commitment of every PL employee to ensuring an efficient and effective service delivery system that meets the needs of stakeholders and customers.
On the PL PSP 2022-2026, he said, it set the vision and mission of PL’s service and information communication technology (ICT) system in line with PS PL’s vision as a leader in digital services towards a sustainable and prosperous smart city.
“It is in line with the Public Sector PSP Framework 2021-2025 which consists of four main components, namely Vision, Strategic Core, Guiding Principles and Enabling Ecosystem,” he said.
At the event, Rithuan also presented the appointment letter as PL deputy chief executive officer to Datuk Dr Othman Che Jusoh, whose appointment took effect last Dec 1.
