Bursa Malaysia ended the Friday morning trading session in positive territory, following the positive cue of Wall Street performance overnight as well as regional bourses.
The FBM KLCI rose 5.05 points or 0.34% to 1,470.98.
The main index was traded in the range of 1,466.76 – 1,471.90.
Top five active counters of the morning session were Sapura Energy, Borneo Oil, MQ Technology, Dataprep, PT Resources Holdings.
Top five advancers were Nestle Malaysia, Tenaga Nasional, Vitrox Corporation, PETRONAS Dagangan, Bermaz Auto.
Top five decliners were Carlsberg Brewery, Kuala Lumpur Kepong, Chin Tek Plantations, Signature International.
