PKNS Focusing On 10 Housing Projects In Strategic Locations This Year

The Selangor State Development Corporation (PKNS) is planning 10 housing projects in strategic locations throughout this year.

Its chief executive officer Datuk Mahmud Abbas said the projects will be situated near a network of public facilities, which include Light Rail Transit (LRT) stations, hospitals, and schools.

“We are planning a total of 10 projects this year, estimated to be RM1 billion in gross development value (GDV), subject to market capacity.

“PKNS is aiming for the projects to be in the cities of Shah Alam, Bangi and Cyberjaya, among others. These residences will be suitable for individuals who want to buy their first homes,” he said.

PKNS’ 10 projects include Advena Residency in Section 16 Shah Alam, which is currently under construction with over 70 per cent of the total 232 units booked.

“This contemporary modern concept apartment residence is 941 square feet in area, is an affordable residence, and is close to the main LRT line in the Shah Alam city centre.

“Similarly, we will also launch Pangsapuri Intana Ria 3, our latest low-cost housing project, Bandar Baru Bangi on January 14 and January 15 at an affordable price,” he said.
