Use Of Tax Identification Number Is Allowed As Reference For Tax Payment Purposes

Lembaga Hasil Dalam Negeri (HASiL) has informed that HASiL is aware and concerned about the tax payment problems faced by taxpayers following the introduction of the use of Bill Numbers as a mandatory reference for the payment of all types of taxes except the payment of Monthly Tax Deductions (PCB) and Stamp Duty starting 1 January 2023. In connection with that, HASiL has decided that taxpayers can choose to use either Tax Identification Number (TIN) or Bill Number as a reference for tax payment purposes to HASiL which can be accessed today.

In line with this announcement, HASiL has also agreed to allow an extension of time until 20 January 2023 for the payment of all types of taxes except for the payment of Monthly Tax Deductions (PCB) and Stamp Duty and no increase will be imposed on late payment of these taxes. HASiL would also like to apologize for all the difficulties faced by taxpayers and as an alternative measure to help simplify payment matters and answer questions regarding this matter, taxpayers can contact HASiL via e-mail [email protected] for more information.
