Top Glove Supports Superkids Ride & Fly CSR Programme, Giving Impoverished Children ‘Wings’

Top Glove Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Top Glove, recently supported the Superkids Ride & Fly corporate social responsibility initiative. The Foundation sponsored lunch and dinner meals, as well as provided monetary support to the event that was organised jointly by Route 77 Harley Davidson Kuala Lumpur Chapter and Lions Club of Mid Valley Kuala Lumpur.

It is the sixth year of the CSR initiative, and its main objective is to provide a lifetime experience of riding on a Harley Davidson motorcycle and flying in a specially chartered flight over Kuala Lumpur city centre to impoverished children. This year, the beneficiaries of this initiative were 122 children aged 7 to 17 from the Ronald McDonald House, Persatuan Kebajikan Rakan Lutheran Selangor, Promise Home, Wen Hua Home Cheras and House of Joy.

“This is a noble and meaningful event that offers underprivileged children and children with terminal illnesses a chance to be free from worries and just enjoy a memorable outing,” said Lim Cheong Guan, the Advisor for Top Glove Foundation and Top Glove’s Managing Director.

“We are humbled and honoured to have contributed to this event. In addition to donating meals and monetary support, our Top Glove volunteers were also part of the organising committee working to make this event successful,” continued Lim.
