Ahead of the upcoming annual Thaipusam Festival at Batu Caves this coming Sunday, 5 February, the Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) has announced road and intersection closures around the Gombak vicinity.
The closures would happen from 2 to 8 February, involving the locations mentioned below:
Kg Melayu-Batu Caves Traffic Light
Slip road from MRR2 to Batu Caves Temple
Jalan Perusahaan heading to Batu Caves Temple
MRR2 slip road from Sri Gombak to Susur Perusahaan
The intersection of Jalan SBC 8 / Jalan Batu Caves Lama
Sri Batu Caves (SBC) T-junction Traffic Lights in front of the Shell Petrol Station
KTMB has announced 24 hours train services for the Thaipusam festival so please use public transportation to avoid getting a headache being stuck in traffic and not being able to get a parking space!
