Software AG has provided its solutions to over 10,000 organisations worldwide and will be looking to expand its reach in the Malaysian market through this partnership. Infomina will be their sole representative for Malaysian businesses.

This partnership agreement was officially signed in a closed-door event with Aju Murjani, Head of Southeast Asia at Software AG and Yee Chee Meng, Managing Director of Infomina, and witnessed by Jonathan Heywood, Senior Vice President for API business in Software AG as well as other honoured guests from both organisations.

Managing Director of Infomina, Yee Chee Meng shared, “Organizations are facing increasingly intricate challenges, from managing distributed workforces and disrupted supply chains to navigating trade regulations. While these challenges may persist, we can alleviate some of the complexity associated with addressing them. We are excited to collaborate with Software AG and its extensive team of industry and solution experts to simplify the interconnected world for more customers and spur greater digital adoption with Malaysian businesses. At Infomina, we understand the market ”

This follows a successful start to the year for Infomina with new contracts from Maybank Indonesia and Siam Commercial Bank Public Company Ltd (SCB).

Potential for Growth in Malaysia’s Technology Market Shown through Collaborations

This partnership is a sign of the growth potential of Malaysia’s technology market, which has been expanding steadily in recent years.  The IDC Asia/Pacific Cloud Survey 2021 found that 86% of organizations in Malaysia had higher than regional average increases in cloud usage. Cloud cost visibility and measurement are top concerns globally, and building capabilities in these areas will benefit the advancement of cloud services in more matured activities and environments, according to Prapussorn Pechkaew, Research Manager at IDC Thailand.

Software AG has observed that there have been major shifts in the way IT departments provide technology to companies in recent years. Many companies are now utilizing cloud applications, infrastructure and development platforms. As a result, the traditional data centre is evolving into a hybrid environment, with a mix of on-premises and cloud components, including third-party leased applications. This has made it more challenging to manage and connect these distributed systems. These changes in the market have created a state of uncertainty, leading companies to inquire about the significance of APIs, microservices, cloud platform services, and continuous delivery over the next three to five years.

Infomina’s collaboration with Software AG aims to provide advanced integration technologies that will help its clients solve complex integration challenges and stay ahead of the changing digital landscape. By leveraging Software AG’s webMethods, Infomina can offer their clients credible capabilities that span application, cloud, and big data integration, API management, master data management, B2B integration, and managed file transfer.

This collaboration enables Infomina to provide its clients with innovative solutions that will help them succeed in the digital era. As innovation continues to spur growth around the world, the need for better-connected enterprises that can adopt newer technologies within their existing tech stack is critical.

Jonathan Heywood, Senior Vice President for API business in Software AG shared, “We are excited by the potential and opportunities within the Malaysian market. Though still an emerging technology market, there are strong positive signs from the government and the business community around the willingness and need for more advanced technological solutions for their businesses. Software AG has worked with over 10,000 businesses worldwide to help them build stronger connected enterprises and we strongly believe that the Malaysian market is poised to take a leap in technological development in the near future.”

Infomina has a proven track record of delivering successful digital transformation projects across various industries in Malaysia. With this collaboration, Infomina will be better positioned to provide its customers with the latest technology solutions and expertise, accelerating their digital transformation journeys.
