Mydin Launches ‘Klasiknya Raya’ Campaign Offering Varieties, Savings To Shoppers For Raya

The largest local wholesale and retail chain, MYDIN has launched the “Klasiknya Raya” Campaign in collaboration with exclusive banking partner, MBSB Bank to welcome the holy and prosperous month of Ramadan and Aidilfitri. The campaign was launched by the Minister of Domestic Trade and Living Costs, YB Datuk Seri Salahuddin bin Ayub at MYDIN Subang Jaya, Selangor.

Throughout the commencement of this campaign, MYDIN offers a wide range of households and groceries selection, varieties of attractive “Raya” apparels for male, female and kids, home decorations, biscuits, dates choices and assortment of other special prices products with great savings guaranteed. MYDIN estimates 50 percent elevation of customer footfalls for the upcoming festive preparation.

In an effort to encourage people to shop by utilising the safer and easier digital technology applications, MYDIN as well cooperate with e-wallet partners which are Atome, Boost, MBSB Bank e-wallet, MCash and Touch’nGO eWallet providing cash rebate up to MYR300, 000 for each transaction at MYDIN by using their applications. This e-wallet partners campaign is valid until 7 March 2023.

MYDIN Managing Director, Datuk Wira (Dr) Haji Ameer Ali Mydin, “Klasiknya Raya” theme is chosen to reminisce the tradition and ignite the harmony yet moderate festive spirit towards the upcoming Raya celebration as cost of living globally rising, MYDIN comes forward to offer shoppers fulfilling festive needs at a very competitive and affordable price.

Continuously supporting the government initiative of gratifying the underprivileged , Rahmah baskets valued at MYR100,000 will be donated to them through the MYDIN Prihatin initiative. Consolidating to this, MYDIN spruced up the effort by offering Rahmah sales on selected items. Besides, Bazar Ramadan Rahmah will be running in an effort to ease the expenditure cost especially for the looming festive celebration.

MYDIN Prihatin initiative strategically cooperates with more than 50 supplier brands addressing the less fortunate by donating a few amount from the purchase of participating brands by channelling the donated amounts to welfare homes registered with the Social Welfare Department (JKM). E- wallet shoppers as well stand a chance to donate via transactions made or Meriah member points cut-out at MYDIN cashier counter.

MYDIN estimates cooperation with strategic MYDIN Prihatin partners able to collect donation amounts amounting to MYR250,00 to be distributed to the targeted group. In conjunction with the holy month of Ramadan, 40,000 packs of ‘bubur lambuk’ will also be distributed at participating MYDIN outlets..

The “Klasiknya Raya” campaign will be running until 15 May 2023.
