Finally Trying Out Kenny Hills Bakers – Here’s What We Think!

Nestled in the peaceful part of Bukit Tunku (formerly known as Kenny Hills), the journey of Kenny Hills Bakers began in 2014 from in a half-lot serving fresh coffee, cakes, and organic bread with one idea in mind: To serve the local neighbourhood with food using the best ingredients there is.

There is no question that Kenny Hills Bakers has maintained the standard of their food and desserts while also making customers feel at home in their outlets. They are one of the most sought-after cafés in the Klang Valley, whether it be for a business lunch or even a gathering spot with your friends!

Basmati Nasi Lemak

This Malaysian classic is a must-have here! The aroma of the rice thanks to the rich coconut milk and pandan leaves that are used in the rice goes perfectly with the perfectly savoury and spicy sambal.

The “ayam goreng berempah” served with this dish is super crispy on the outside yet so succulent and moist on the inside.

Paired with ‘nasi lemak’ staples such as fried ground nuts, fried anchovies, cucumber, and a boiled egg, there is also a medium-sized fried prawn to add just a little more ‘ummphh’ to the dish!

Seafood Aglio Olio

Kenny Hills Bakers flavourful seafood aglio olio contains mouthfuls of baby squid, prawns, mussels, and clams; all bound together with a rich garlic chilli oil.

There was just a burst of flavours the moment we tried this dish and they did not stinge on the seafood at all!

Margherita & Smoked Salmon Pizza

Organic but full of flavour! Kenny Hills Bakers’ signature margherita pizza comes with fresh burrata on a homemade crust made from organic flour.

Cut open that little ball of cheesy goodness and devour in that rich tomato sauce which comes together with the perfect crust.

The smoked salmon pizza was super fresh and was indeed what we needed in between all the rich dishes we had!

Desserts and tarts

When anyone mentions Kenny Hills Bakers, the first thing that almost comes to mind is the peach strudel!

We tried the peach strudel (of course!), almond croissant, and the mushroom tart.

Everything was super yummy, but the peach strudel was the star of the show. It was so flavourful and had the perfect amount of sweetness yet it felt very light and we all just wanted more!

So, if you have not visited Kenny Hills Bakers, you NEED to try the peach strudel!

If you are in the area or just wondering where to go with your friends this weekend, be sure to visit Kenny Hills Bakers and try them out!
