LBS is taking a significant step towards greater sustainability practices with the official launch of the LBS Green Mission, which aims to be the umbrella initiative, encompassing all environmental efforts in ESG. The vision is to align the Group with the latest environmental practices and paving way for a greener future for all.
Datuk Wira Joey Lim Hock Guan, the Group Managing Director and CEO of LBS said “LBS Green Mission is our commitment towards the environment segment in sustainability, and we encourage all our stakeholders to join us in this journey and achieve a greener and sustainable future together. Through this initiative, LBS is committed to planting 1 million trees by 2030. We were inspired by the government’s 100 million tree planting initiative.”
What makes this initiative unique from the rest is the incorporation of our employee engagement arm, Heroes for Change, where every employee will partake in LBS’ journey of making the world a greener place. This event also sees the launch of LBS Green Mission’s 1st activity named “One, Two… Plant a Tree.”
