The new Melaka chief minister, Datuk Seri Ab Rauf Yusoh was sworn in today (March 31) at 3.33pm.
He got his letter of appointment and took the oaths of office, allegiance, and confidentiality before Melaka Yang Dipertua Negeri Tun Mohd Ali Rustam at the Governor’s Office’s Dewan Seri Utama.
Ab Rauf, 61, who is also the head of the Melaka Umno state relations committee, takes over for Lendu assemblyman Datuk Seri Sulaiman Md Ali.
