MIFPM Congratulates On The Appointment Of Datuk Kamarulzaman As New KL Mayor

Malaysian Institute of Property and Facility Managers have congratulated Datuk Sr Kamarulzaman Mat Salleh who has been appointed as the new Mayor of the City of Kuala Lumpur. Datuk Sr Kamarulzaman 59 years old, graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Surveying (Property Management) from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (1987). He started serving in Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) in 1991 and has 32 years of experience in city management as well as the planning principles of the City of Kuala Lumpur.

His last position was as Executive Director (Project Management), DBKL. He also holds the office of President to the Malaysian Institute of Property and Facility Managers / Malaysian Institute of Property and Facility Managers (MIPFM) are proactive in establishing the Property Management industry profession and Facilities.

Datuk Sr Kamarulzaman also often participates in a series of seminars and conferences annually organised by MIPFM. In congratulating the new mayor, the association believes that with his experience and skills, he is able to strengthen DBKL governance.
