As the Official Partner Country of Hannover Messe 2023, Indonesia has signed several cooperation agreements that are projected to create jobs for 80,000 people.
According to the statement released on Saturday, Indonesia signed one government-to-government (G2G) agreement, four business-to-government (B2G) agreements, and 25 business-to-business (B2B) agreements during the Hannover Messe 2023.
An official from the Industry Ministry remarked that as the official partner country, Indonesia is pleased to be part of the biggest industry fair that positively impacts investments in Indonesia.
e said visitors at the fair expressed positive responses to the programs that Indonesia held as the partner country, including an art performance during the opening ceremony, opening of the Indonesian Pavilion, country night, a business summit, and several conferences.
Indonesia’s success is also reflected from the numerous visits to the Indonesia Pavilion and the participation of 157 co-exhibitors from Indonesia.
Gunther Kegel, the President of German Industry Association (ZVEI), stated that despite protests in several areas in Germany taking place at the same time, Hannover Messe 2023 proceeded in an orderly fashion, with hundreds of thousands of people visiting the event.
In addition to businessmen, Hannover Messe managed to attract political delegations from 50 countries to participate and contribute, making it a superior exhibition to other industry exhibitions.
Held on April 17-21, Hannover Messe brought feelings of optimism for 40,000 exhibitors who aimed to integrate sustainable industry.
CEO of DMAG Jochen Köckler believes that the tens of thousands of visitors at the Hannover Messe 2023 shared a similar vision of supporting a more competitive industry, with the objective of going climate-neutral.
The fair attracted visitors from outside of Germany, such as China, Korea, the Netherlands, and the United States, with 43 percent of the visitors coming from these countries.
