SNC Embarks On A RM1.75 Billion Meswara City Project In Melaka

Sand Nisko Capital Bhd through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Len Cheong Industries Sdn Bhd announced that the Company has entered into a Heads of Agreement with Evergreen More Sdn Bhd to undertake the proposed mixed-development project worth RM1.75 billion known as “Meswara City” at Alor Gajah, Melaka.

The Project is expected to be built on a total of 519.5 acres comprising three adjoining lands in the following three phases based on the development plan established by EMSB. Phase 1 – 294 units of 2-storey shop office, 36 units of 2-storey shop lot, 4 units of 2-storey drive-thru restaurant, convention hall, cultural village and hypermarket. Phase 2 – 2,920 residential units comprising of 1-storey of low cost and low medium cost terrace house; 1-storey and 2-storey of medium cost terrace house. And, Phase 3 – 45 units of 2-storey bungalow and 660 units of 2-storey semi-detached house together with a University Campus.

“We will kick start the RM1.75 billion Project progressively with the first phase of commercial properties to build more traffic to the area followed by low and medium costs houses and finally luxury semi-detached houses and bungalows and a University Campus that can fit 10,000 students,” said SNC’s Executive Director, Mr. Song Peng Wei.

SNC had in the past year completed a few construction projects in Melaka namely Taman Bukit Rambai Putra, Taman Krubong Jaya, Taman Seri Tanjong Minyak and Kawasan Perindustrian Bukit Rambai. Currently, the Group is in the midst of completing a light industrial development project worth RM34.5 million in Sungai Petani, Kedah.
