Kebawah Duli Yang Maha Mulia Seri Paduka Baginda Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah Ibni Almarhum Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Al Musta’in Billah and Kebawah Duli Yang Maha Mulia Seri Paduka Baginda Raja Permaisuri Agong Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah binti Almarhum Al-Mutawakkil Alallah Sultan Iskandar Al Haj graced the Citaglobal Genetec BESS’ (“Citaglobal”) festive “Majlis Rumah Terbuka Aidilfitri 2023” at the Genetec Technology EPIC Plant (“Genetec EPIC plant”) today.
The event follows the Company’s recent launch of Malaysia’s first locally developed and produced Battery Energy Storage System (“BESS”) at the Genetec EPIC plant on 11 April 2023. During the launch, the Company showcased the fully operational 1MW BESS prototype (“MYBESS”) that was successfully developed and piloted in December 2022, and currently supports the Genetec EPIC plant’s energy needs.

Citaglobal Genetec BESS is the special purpose vehicle formed by Citaglobal Berhad and Genetec to develop and deliver end-to-end RE solutions for commercial and industrial purposes in support of advancing Malaysia’s RE needs and ambitions.
