Malaysian 5G Dual Network Task Force Strengthened To Meet Issues

The structure of the 5G Dual Network Implementation Task Force is now being contemplated to address its main focus which is to resolve the issues related to the 5G access agreement between service providers with DNB and also their equity participation in DNB.

The Immediate decision for the 5G access agreement between service providers together with DNB will enable the main service providers including Maxis to offer 5G service packages to users. Next, equity participation by service providers in DNB will support 5G network development by DNB until it reaches 80 percent coverage in populated area by the end of 2023.
