CelcomDigi which is partly owned by Telenor will see its reprensitive on the board with the appointment of Petter-Boerre Furberg as the new Deputy Chairman.
He will be replacing Jorgen Christian Arentz Rostrup who will be leaving the position end of the month due to reassignment by Telenor.
Petter was formerly the Executive Officer for the Norwegian Ministry of Finance, Norway (August 1992 – October 1994), Permanent Secretary Standing Committee on Finance & Economic Affairs, Stortinget (Norwegian Parliament), and Manager and Assistant Manager, Den Norske Bank (DnB).
He was also the Vice President of Finance, Telenor International, Norway, and Deputy Chief Financial Officer (CFO), at Total Access Communications PCL, Thailand in 2001. Petter was the EVP Telenor Group and CEO of Telenor Norway till 2022 before becoming the EVP Telenor Group and Head of Telenor Nordics in 2023. Starting in October 2023, Petter will also act as the EVP and Head of Telenor Asia Pte Ltd, Singapore.
