BuildXpo 2023, Malaysia’s premier international building and construction industry showcase is set to feature global Fortune 500 company Metallurgical Corporation of China Ltd. (MCC Group) at International Construction Week (ICW) 2023.
The event organised by the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) is scheduled to be held from Nov 15-17, 2023 at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre.
CIDB CEO Datuk Mohd Zaid Zakaria said the MCC Group confirmed its participation following CIDB’s visit to Beijing, which saw the presentation of the Certificate of Recognition to Inspection and Certification Co Ltd MCC as an affiliated laboratory of CIDB Malaysia. Their aim of BuildXpo is dedicated to advancing sustainability in construction.
“With a focus on environmental, social and corporate governance practices, BuildXpo serves as a platform for industry professionals and stakeholders to exchange knowledge, showcase innovative solutions, and foster collaboration for a more sustainable built environment,” CIDB said.
The event will delve into various essential topics, including the adoption of environmentally sustainable building practices, the exploration of Advanced Work Packaging in construction, and the unveiling of ground-breaking technological innovations in critical heavy structure load-out operations.
