Train Inspection Causes Delays on MRT Kajang Line

Commuters on the MRT Kajang line faced delays today (May 28), approximately at 6.00 – 6.15PM, as one of their trains needed to be taken out of service for an inspection, as explained by @askrapidkl via their official X account.

“A train needs to be taken out for inspection. The frequency is being adjusted.”

The removal of the train for maintenance has led to reduced service frequency, causing significant delays for passengers during peak hours.

To manage the situation, auxiliary police have been deployed at affected stations to assist the crowd and ensure orderly boarding of the MRT.

Rapid KL has not provided an estimated time for when normal service will resume.
