Suspension Of Systematic Aviation Services Extended

The Civil Aviation Authority Of Malaysia has extended the suspension of Systematic Aviation Service’s Air Operator Certificate for another 52 days until end July. This was after it was suspended for 3 months.

The regulator said during the suspension SAS needs to work diligently towards compliance with the requirements and the timeline to obtain approval from the Malaysian Aviation Commission in order to resume operations.

The company had its air service permit not renewed by MAVCOM due to having not met certain requirements, since the AOC and ASP are interdependent, CAAM has also suspended it until SAS clears with MAVCOM.

SAS is not allowed to offer hire for reward flights.
