Philippine Inflation Quickens At 4.4% In July

Philippine annual inflation was 4.4 per cent in July, the statistics agency said on Tuesday, accelerating from the previous month’s 3.7 per cent.

Economists polled by Reuters had projected a rate of 4.1 per cent in July, close to the bottom end of the central bank’s 4.0 per cent to 4.8 per cent forecast range.
