“The Lume embodies the art of sophisticated living,” said Kok Tuck Cheong, Managing Director at E&O. “Each exclusive residence is designed to ensure privacy while fostering a sense of community, making it ideal for those seeking a balanced work-life-play environment.”

A standout feature of The Lume is its pavilion-in-the-sky design, which extends living and dining spaces outward, offering residents breathtaking 180-degree views of the island. This design maximises natural light and airflow, creating an inviting and airy atmosphere.

Private spaces are thoughtfully arranged, with bedrooms positioned in a linear configuration within the main structure. Strategic placement of architectural fins ensures both outward views and privacy for residents.

The development caters to a diverse market, including empty nesters, young families, and professionals seeking a second home. Each floor features just six apartments, with sizes ranging from 1,722 sq ft to 2,874 sq ft, and prices starting at RM 2.2 million.

The Lume integrates nature into daily living, featuring lush tropical gardens and terraced landscaping with sweeping sea views. Residents can enjoy landscaped pools, lounges, BBQ spaces, and dedicated areas for children, including playgrounds and a wading pool. Pet-friendly spaces are also available for furry companions.

In response to the growing work-from-home trend, The Lume includes co-working spaces, meeting rooms, and function areas, allowing residents to seamlessly blend professional and personal life without compromising their well-being.

Kok Tuck Cheong emphasised that “the landscape architecture of The Lume is meticulously conceived to offer a profound experience of tranquil serenity.”

and maximized outward view while ensuring privacy for its residents.

Andaman Island, which has received GreenRE Platinum certification, is a pioneering development in Malaysia designed around four pillars—connectivity, sustainability, community, and quality of life. The first phase of the project spans 253 acres and includes three distinct districts: Shoreline, Gurney Green, and Canalside. Each district is guided by a masterplan that promotes the urbanism concept of a 15-minute city, ensuring pedestrian-friendly neighbourhoods with easy access to essential amenities and green spaces.

The Shoreline district, where The Lume is located, embodies eco-conscious and sustainable living. The development’s GreenRE Platinum certification reflects its commitment to environmentally responsible practices and minimal carbon footprint while providing ample communal spaces for socialising and wellness activities.

Residents of Andaman Island will benefit from its strategic location near economic zones and direct access to two bridges linked to Penang Island.

Kok Tuck Cheong concluded, “This development establishes a new benchmark for future living spaces on Andaman Island, where innovation, well-being, and harmonious living are intertwined. The Lume’s launch continues our legacy of crafting elegant homes that anticipate the evolving needs and aspirations of our residents.”

The launch of The Lume follows the successful introductions of E&O’s previous developments, The Meg and Arica, on Andaman Island.
