Former Chief Secretary Zuki Ali Appointed EPF Chairman

Zuki Ali, former Chief Secretary to the Government, has been named as the new Chairman of the Employees Provident Fund (EPF).

His appointment is set to take effect on 1 September, as announced by the EPF.

Zuki takes over from Ahmad Badri Zahir, who has held the position since 1 May 2020.

The EPF Board extended a warm welcome and congratulations to Zuki, highlighting his extensive experience in the government sector and his strategic vision as key assets that will drive the EPF forward.

Zuki Ali, who retired on 9 August after a distinguished three-decade career in the civil service, had previously been appointed Chief Secretary to the Government on 31 December 2019.

He was reappointed on a two-year contract starting 11 August 2022, which was set to run until 10 August 2024.
