Binastra Bags Contract For Taman Desa Development Worth RM283 Million

Binastra Corporation Berhad has accepted a letter of award from Kaisar Maxim Sdn. Bhd. for RM283.3 million contract for the main building works of a major residential development in Taman Desa, Kuala Lumpur.

This latest contract, being Binastra’s 10th contract for the financial year ending 31 January 2025 (“FY2025”), brings its financial year to date contract wins to RM1.9 billion, far exceeding last financial year’s total contracts won of RM612.2 million.

This project entails the construction of a total of 624 residential units across three 31-storey blocks, four podium levels and five levels dedicated for parking, amongst others. Construction is scheduled to commence on 17 September 2024, with an expected completion timeline of 32 months.

Earlier this year, Binastra was also entrusted with a piling works contract for this same residential development, underscoring the Group’s good synergy with its long-term client, Maxim Global Berhad, the parent company of Kaisar Maxim Sdn. Bhd..

Datuk Jackson Tan Kak Seng, Managing Director of Binastra Corporation Berhad, in expressing his confidence in the Group’s achievement, said, “With RM1.9 billion new contracts secured to date, we are confident that the Group is on track to achieve its full-year target of RM3.0 billion.

As of 5 September 2024, Binastra’s outstanding order book value amounts to RM2.8 billion, which is expected to provide financial visibility in the next 4 years.
