Capri by Fraser Johor Bahru has turned pink this October in collaboration with The Breast Cancer Support Group JB (BSCG), marking its first tribute to Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Through a series of events and activities, the hotel aims to honour the strength of breast cancer fighters and survivors while raising awareness for a crucial cause.
Kicking off on 1st October, the “Stronger Together” campaign will run throughout the month, offering guests the chance to participate in a range of meaningful experiences. Highlights include educational sessions, social gatherings, and fitness events, all in support of breast cancer awareness.
Key Events
“Stronger Together” Sharing Session (10th October)
This complimentary session, open to the public, will feature expert speakers discussing breast cancer prevention, early detection, and available support. Attendees will gain essential knowledge and resources to help in their health journeys.
Pink High Tea (23rd October)
A delightful high tea will be hosted for the BSCG community, offering an opportunity to connect with survivors while enjoying delicious treats. Guests can support the cause while socialising in a pink-themed setting.
Party in PINK Zumbathon (30th October)
Capri by Fraser Johor Bahru will offer a complimentary Zumba class to raise breast cancer awareness. Participants are encouraged to bring family and friends for a fun, energetic session in support of this important cause.
Participants in the “Stronger Together” Sharing Session and the Zumbathon will also receive discount codes for Delite, the hotel’s in-house restaurant, as a token of appreciation for their support.
Pink-tastic Coffee for a CauseIn partnership with JWC, Delite café will be serving specially curated pink coffees throughout October. For each pink coffee sold, RM1 will be donated to The Breast Cancer Support Group JB, helping fund the organisation’s support efforts for those affected by breast cancer.
