Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur Achieves Halal Certification, Elevating Dining Standards

Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur has officially received Halal certification for several of its kitchens, enhancing its commitment to providing high-quality, halal-certified dining experiences. This certification, granted by the Halal Certification Panel of Jabatan Kemajuan Islam Malaysia (JAKIM), assures guests that the hotel adheres to Islamic Law and Malaysian Halal Standards, ensuring safe and authentic meals across its diverse dining options.

The certification covers the hotel’s Banquet Operations and the Lemon Garden, a popular buffet restaurant known for its extensive selection of local and international dishes. Daniel Kaeflein, General Manager of Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur, expressed, “We are honoured to receive Halal certification from JAKIM.
