Puspakom Suspends 6 Officers Over Alleged Corruption

Puspakom Chief Executive Officer Mahmood Razak Bahman said the firm has suspended 6 of its officers over alleged involvement in a syndicate approving tests for heavy vehicles.

The CEO said the company will not compromise on any elements of corruption and is conducting internal investigations to eradicate such activities.

Recently, the Malaysian Anti Corruption Commission called in officers from Puspakom over repots of corruption and involvement of tests approval without proper protocols. The investigation also came after a tragic accident took place involving a heavy truck in a 5 vehicle pile up killing 7 people on the North South highway recently.

The Transport Minister immediately formed a task force to get to the bottom of the incident and vowed to leave no stone unturned in exposing all those involved.
