Bersatu Vows To Remain In PN

Bersatu has expressed regret over PAS’ decision to end political cooperation between the two parties, saying the move was initiated by PAS.

In a statement, Bersatu president Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin said the cooperation built between the parties had been founded on mutual understanding and shared principles.

He said the decision to terminate political cooperation and sever ties with Bersatu was made by PAS.

Muhyiddin stressed that Bersatu, as a founding member of Perikatan Nasional (PN), would remain within the coalition and continue strengthening its core struggle.

He said the party would continue advancing the people-centric agenda championed by PN since its establishment while supporting the aspirations of Malaysians seeking change and leadership that represents all segments of society.

Muhyiddin also called on party members and supporters to focus on strengthening PN, urging leaders and members at all levels to continue placing the interests of the rakyat as their primary focus.

The statement comes following PAS’ decision to end its political cooperation with Bersatu, a development that marks a significant shift within the opposition landscape.

Despite the setback, Muhyiddin said he remained confident that supporters of PN would continue to stand with the coalition.
