Barisan Nasional (BN) has announced that it will contest the upcoming Negeri Sembilan state election on its own following Pakatan Harapan’s (PH) decision to field candidates in all 36 State Legislative Assembly (DUN) seats.
BN chairman Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said the decision was made because BN had no other option after PH declared its intention to contest every seat in the state.
He said BN’s move to go solo was a direct response to PH’s announcement to place candidates in all 36 Negeri Sembilan state constituencies.
