Cartier’s LOVE Bracelet Just Got A Colour Upgrade

Cartier is putting colour back into one of its most recognisable designs. The maison has unveiled six new LOVE bracelets that shift the collection in a more expressive direction, blending gemstones, pavé settings and a reworked take on its signature screw motif.

As noted by “Bagaholicboy”, this latest update marks a noticeable change in tone for a design that has long stayed close to its original formula.

The launch isn’t a first for Cartier. Back in 2009, the brand released a limited series of coloured LOVE bracelets that quickly developed a cult following among collectors. Often referred to as the “Rainbow LOVE”, those pieces stood out for softening the bracelet’s structured, industrial feel with a more playful use of gemstones.

This new release builds on that idea with a more defined approach. Cartier fully sets three of the bracelets with pavé pink sapphires, blue sapphires or tsavorite garnets.

In place of the familiar screw motifs, each design features 10 brilliant-cut diamonds. Whether worn on their own or stacked with a classic LOVE bracelet, these pieces bring a bold burst of colour to the wrist.

The remaining three bracelets take a subtler route. Cartier replaces the signature screws with 10 coloured gemstones arranged in carefully graduated tones.

The yellow and rose gold versions combine amethysts, pink and yellow sapphires, spessartite garnets and green tsavorites, while the white gold edition showcases a cooler mix of aquamarines, amethysts, pink and blue sapphires, and tanzanites. Despite their different executions, all six designs remain unmistakably Cartier.

More than just introducing new colours, the collection also refreshes the way the LOVE bracelet can be styled. Rather than focusing solely on mixed metals or diamond pavé combinations, Cartier puts colour at the centre of the conversation, creating new opportunities for layering and personal expression.

For those new to the LOVE collection, this also functions as a more vibrant entry point into one of Cartier’s most established icons.
