Eligible recipients of the BUDI Diesel programme who applied between May 1 and May 31 will receive RM400 in cash assistance today.
Ministry of Finance(MOF) said the payment consists of the existing RM200 monthly BUDI Diesel aid and an additional RM200 interim assistance introduced by the government to help offset rising fuel costs.
The additional aid is aimed at easing cost pressures on eligible diesel vehicle owners and small businesses affected by global fuel price volatility.
