TH Poperties Wins Award for Second Consecutive Year

TH Properties Sdn. Bhd. wins the 5-star award for the second year running in the Asia Pacific Property Awards. Winner in the Best New Hotel Construction and Design Award category for the TH Hotel & Convention Centre KLIA project, the subsidiary of Lembaga Tabung Haji is recognised as Malaysia’s best in that category.  The award follows the double wins by TH Properties last year when the Group bagged three 5-star awards for its projects.TH Hotel & Convention Centre KLIA, which is being built on a 17.725-acre site, will have a 4-star hotel operated by Mӧvenpick Hotels & Resorts, viewing gallery, convention centre encompassing a haj operations centre, and exhibition space.

The Syariah-compliant hotel offers 333 rooms and other hotel facilities such as separate swimming pools for men and women, children’s playground, gym, spa and four cafés and restaurants With a banquet hall in the complex accommodating 2,500 guests, it also has 10 seminar rooms with a capacity of 15 to 20 people per room. The complex has targeted a score of 68 or silver rating for the Green Building Index. The complex will replace the Kelana Jaya Hajj Complex, which has been operating for 36 years, as the operations centre and departure complex for Hajj pilgrims.

Asia Pacific Property Awards is one of the components of the International Property Awards, which recognises excellence in terms of design, construction quality and presentation of individual property projects and also property development, design and marketing by companies throughout the world.
