Spread over two floors, the Poolside Residence and Poolhouse, designed by award-winning interior and architectural firm, G.A Design, is the newest addition to Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur. The all-encompassing facility offers a new interactive meeting and event experience integrated within a poolside setting, surrounded by lush greenery whilst overlooking the iconic Petronas Twin Towers.
Poolside Residence is a collection of five private event rooms surrounded by the Gallery and the Loft Kitchen. With floor-to-ceiling windows throughout, the Poolside Residence is a modern and versatile residential-style event space spanning over 765 square metres. Tapping into the country’s traditional elements, all meeting rooms’ carpets are incorporated with designs of Malaysia’s national flower, the hibiscus.
The Gallery presents itself in a stylish ambiance with dazzling gold and brass lighting, resulting in a dramatic experience upon arrival. Coffee breaks and meals are freshly prepared at the Loft Kitchen, a personalised space whilst overlooking the Petronas Twin Towers. With flexibility in mind and a capacity up to 170 guests for banquet or 240 guests for a reception, the Poolside Residence is the ideal venue to host casual networking sessions, breakout meetings, open house events, cocktails or welcome parties in an informal setting.
The newly crafted Poolhouse is a stunning glasshouse facing the hotel’s swimming pool and surrounded by tropical greenery, serving both local and international favourites. Measuring 150 square metres complete with an al fresco terrace, this classic all-day dining is equipped with a contemporary show kitchen featuring a display grill station and buffet counters for an interactive experience. Combining style and resilience, Poolhouse is capable of operating in an air conditioned or semi-outdoor setting, suitable for intimate events such as fun after-parties, R.O.M ceremonies and BBQ-style dining.
Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur now showcases thirteen highly versatile events spaces with the new addition of Poolside Residence and Poolhouse, complementing the elegant Grand Ballroom, Grand Salon, Grand Residence and Sky Lounge.
