House buyers can now buy a home with a down payment starting from RM1000 as UEM Sunrise Berhad is offering savings to the public and smart investors in conjunction with its 50 years anniversary.
A total of 300 homes are on sale with prices starting from RM293, 000. The campaign begins August 6 and will involve seven projects located in Cyberjaya and Iskandar Puteri, Johor. The properties in Iskandar Puteri are Teega Puteri Harbour, Almas Puteri Harbour, Estuari, Bayu Angkasa and Residensi Ledang, while those in Cyberjaya are Verdi Eco-dominiums and Symphony Hills.
UEM Sunrise managing director and CEO Anwar Syahrin Abdul Ajib says the campaign is in tandem with the governments initiative in providing more affordable homes.
He says, “We did better sales in the first half. We saw higher loan approval in the first half as well. We feel the market is coming back with more excitement. However, people are still cautious. The campaign will have an impact, and we are ready to sacrifice it, but that’s fine with us as long as the buyers appreciate our effort of building the community and give back to the community.”
He adds that the campaign will also help UEM Sunrise to achieve its RM1.2 billion 2018 sales target.
The RM1000 down payment only applies to the Bayu Angkasa medium cost property development at Iskandar Puteri. The Verdi Eco-dominiums and Symphony Hills in Cyberjaya both need a down payment of RM5000 while the remaining properties require a down payment of RM10 000.
