Kohler Expands Presence in Malaysia, Opens First Showroom In Johor


KOHLER, a global leader in manufacturing bath and kitchen products, is further expanding its presence in Malaysia with the official launch of its first showroom in Johor Bahru. The Johor Bahru showroom also marks its tenth showroom in Malaysia.

The showroom also unveiled its latest collection – Components Faucet range and Veil Intelligent Toilet.

The Johor Bahru showroom marks the latest expansion of the KOHLER distribution
footprint in 2019 where it aims to present inspiration and innovation for developers, designers, architects, investors and consumers alike while continuing to drive the kitchen and bathroom industry in Malaysia.

According to the Department of Statistics and Tourism Malaysia, Johor became Malaysia’s
number one tourist destination in 2016 with 7.4 million local tourist arrivals and 2.6 million
international travellers. Last year, it recorded 15.8 million tourist arrivals compared to 14.4
million in 2017. This number is projected to increase again this year. This signifies a healthy growth in Johor’s hospitality industry, transforming it into an up and coming economic powerhouse. This is one of the reasons Kohler has deemed Johor as an attractive location for its newest showroom.

In conjunction with the launch, Kohler is introducing their latest collection, Components which offer consumers and specifiers a wide range of modern, minimalist options of interchangeable faucet elements for composing a finished, creating a personalised effect that is tailor-made for any environment and décor. The other product is Veil Intelligent Toilet which represents the harmonious unity between technology and art.

Kohler meticulously attends to every detail, from the concealed tank and integrated mounting hardware to the self-sanitising bidet. In line with Kohler’s plan and commitment to drive innovation, its heritage and its business strategies in 2019, Kohler is bringing in a wide range of product offerings which includes their Intelligent Toilets, Effervescence Hydrotherapy Baths, Whirlpool Baths, the specially handcrafted Artist Editions, vanity lavatories and various kitchen fittings.
