TCS secures RM68 million contract from Sime Darby Property for construction and infrastructure works

Building and infrastructure construction services provider, TCS Group Holdings Berhad’s wholly-owned subsidiary, TCS Construction Sdn. Bhd. (“TCSCSB”) has secured a RM68.40 million contract from Sime Darby Property (City of Elmina) Sdn. Bhd. for the construction of the double storey link houses and infrastructure works in Shah Alam, Selangor known as the Elmina Green Three (the “Contract”).

With this new contract win, the Group’s outstanding orderbook has now increased to approximately RM670 million.

Managing Director of TCS Group, Tee Chai Seng said, “ This marks our first project with them. We are encouraged by the growing replenishment of orders especially during this unprecedented period. This is also our second contract win since we went public in July 2020. Our achievement adds further credence and testament to our technical and execution capabilities.”

“The outlook of the Group remains favourable as we are seeing more tender activities rolled out for both building construction and infrastructure segments. At the same time, we are also busy executing our expansion plans, and building up our technical capabilities to ensure we are well-positioned for growth,” Tee further added.

Elmina Green Three is part of the City of Elmina, an integrated township in Shah Alam along the rapidly growing Guthrie Corridor. The Contract shall commence on 7 September 2020 and is to be completed by 6 July 2023.
