Rebranded KL Startup Summit 2021 Set To Be Held Virtually From March 26-28

The rebranded KL Startup Summit 2021, with its first edition being held from 26th-28th March 2021 will be held virtually given the current circumstances caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. The virtual summit is being held in partnership with Microsoft Malaysia as the main sponsor this year and many other supporting sponsors such as Stripe, MaGIC, MDEC, Xero, Ampersand Agency, Finnext Capital, ipaymy, Tuas Capital Partners and The Hive Southeast Asia.

According to the Summit Director, Inbaraj Suppiah, “This summit is going to be action-oriented, with all stakeholders and partners committed to providing resources for the growth of our Malaysian startup ecosystem, and we’re grateful that Microsoft Malaysia has shown their full commitment and support for our local ecosystem.”

The main aim of this summit is to support the early stage startup ecosystem and create opportunities for early stage founders to build and grow their startups. The theme for this edition of KL Startup Summit 2021 is “Talk Less, Do More”, and that’s exactly what the organisers aim to do with various activities planned throughout the 3 days.

This startup summit will be very focused on early stage startups and founders where the aim is to inspire new startup founders and aspiring entrepreneurs, as well as help them connect with investors, mentors, corporates, partners, and talent. The various sessions at KLSS 2021 will comprise of insightful talks, interactive discussion panels and a series of masterclass workshops by successful startup founders, ecosystem builders, investors, corporates and government partners.

The summit will be structured along several themed tracks with confirmed tracks such as HealthTech, LawTech, FinTech, Blockhain, MobilityTech and EdTech with various partners such as DoctorOnCall, Fintech Association of Malaysia (FAOM), Blocklime, Access Blockchain Association, SOCAR Malaysia, Forward School and many other ecosystem partners.

KL Startup Summit 2021 will kickoff with Microsoft Developers Day on 26th March 2021. Microsoft Developers Day is a Developers conference with a difference, brought to you by Microsoft Malaysia. The virtual program will bring together keynote speakers, industry champions, community leaders, business owners and developers over the course of the day, to inspire and educate you, the builders of tomorrow.
