Uzma Signs 21 Year Large Scale Solar Power Purchase Agreement with TNB

Uzma Group a listed entity primarily involved in oil and gas, has struck 21 year solar energy supply deal with Tenaga Nasional Berhad with its soon to be build solar farm in Kedah.

The farm will be built by the subsidiary Uzma Kuala Muda which will design, construct, own, operate and maintain the solar photovoltaic energy generating facility with a capacity of 50MWac in Sungai Petani, Kedah.

Upon completion, the company will be selling to TNB the Net Electrical Output generated by the farm for a period of 21 years from the commercial operation time.
