UPM students will benefit from their partnership with Strat Aero, as they will be able to work on a cutting-edge project and gain precious real-world experience with a renowned company, says Professor Dr Mohd Roslan Sulaiman, Vice-Chancellor of UPM.
Strat Aero Malaysia (SAM) and Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to initiate collaboration for future research and development in Aerospace Engineering and Agricultural Application by using Augmented Intelligence Technology at a signing ceremony held at the Office of the Vice-Chancellor in UPM yesterday, Bernama reported.
Present to witness the ceremony were Dean of Faculty of Agriculture, UPM Professor Madya Dr Nur Azura Adam and SAM Chairman Dato Sri Azharuddin Abdul Rahman.
SAM Founder and CEO Dato Lester Tay Kean Boon said during the collaboration, they would be working with UPM to support more industrial ready talents in Augmented Intelligence which comprises of Artificial Intelligence in Data Analysis, Human Intelligence in Management Solution and Unmanned Robotics with the Faculty of Engineering and Faculty of Agriculture.
“Through this collaboration, SAM hopes to contribute more in technological transformation of local industries such as precision agriculture, geospatial surveillance, port management, project monitoring and many more.”
“We are looking forward to collaborate for more technological enhancement in unmanned technology especially drones.” emphasised Azharuddin.
