Alam Flora Wins Frost & Sullivan Award

Alam Flora Sdn Bhd was recently announced as the winner for Best Practices Awards 2021 under the Malaysia Waste Management Company Of The Year 2021category by Frost & Sullivan.

Currently administrating solid waste management and public cleansing services in Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya and Pahang, the conferment of this prestigious award was also like the icing on the cake as Alam Flora celebrates its 25th anniversary, this year.

Receiving the award, was its CEO, Dato Mohd Zain Hassan, through a live virtual ceremony that was held over five continents.

“This year, we emphasised on waste diversion initiatives through waste treatment and recovery in addition to our ongoing public awareness campaigns and programmes. This is in line with the country’s Sustainability Development Goals as set by the United Nations and the National Cleanliness Policy”, says Mohd Zain Hassan.

As part of the country’s front liners in combating the COVID 19 pandemic, Alam Flora will continue with its pursuit of providing the nation with a safe and cleaner living environment, that is beyond waste management and towards a sustainable future.

Alam Flora was the first waste management company from Malaysia to be conferred such a prestigious award and it has further raised the benchmark, by winning it for the third time this year.
